I don’t have to worry about being late for class, since you can work at your own pace as long as you meet due dates.
There are benefits to taking an online class that, to me, surpass the downsides.
It’s harder to get financial aid for the summer and not really worth it if you are only taking one course, but money should still be a deciding factor. I wasn’t exactly told how much my class would be until I signed up for it, and the price caught me off guard. Summer classes can get expensive as well. Yes, it's an awesome feeling to check things off of your "To-Do" list, but it's also a good thing to "take the phone of the hook and disappear for a while." Most of us can no longer physically take the phone off of the hook, but you get the idea, right? We need to take time to enjoy our lives, rather than wasting them by working ourselves too much. Through "Vienna" Billy Joel is encouraging listeners like me to "Slow down, you crazy child, And take the phone off the hook and disappear for a while, It's all right, you can afford to lose a day or two, When will you realize, Vienna waits for you?"īy listening to "Vienna", I realized that I have time to enjoy myself in life. I always have a list of things to do and a schedule to follow. I am always in a hurry to get things done. No matter what you do, be good at it, and whenever you get there, you get there." Well, wait a minute, why do I have this whole lifespan? What's the point of it? Some people will get there sooner, and some people will get there later.
